"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I prefer drawing in pencil and pen, but have been using Photoshop to draw digitally for some time and I enjoy the difference it makes when I practice styles. It allows me to experiment freely without worrying about wasting paper or ink. Though, everything I know is self-taught, so there's plenty of room for improvement. I hope some day to get into a real art class for the first time, and get an associates in Art, and transfer to a bigger school with more specialized classes. Until then, every commission and doodle I make is one step on the way to becoming a better artist.
